prefer full sun in
cool overcast
regions and partial
shade where summer
heat and sun are
intense. Soils
should be well
drained and not
excessively watered.
Plant in early
spring 3 to 4 weeks
before the the
average last frost
date, and in mild
climates, sow them
in the fall.
Bluebells are
excellent in
wildflower
plantings, rock
gardens, and in
containers.
