Grandmothers Cutflower Grd :

The Grandmother's Cut Flower Garden Mix is a charming, old-fashioned blend of flowers your grandmother might have grown. Twenty-three varieties of annuals, biennials and perennials will provide flowers for cutting from spring through first frost. They have a wonderful range of colors, shapes and textures to enliven a whole season's worth of bouquets. Even if your grandmother didn't have a green thumb, this mix will evoke images of a simpler, less hurried time in which she lived. An old-fashioned cutting garden was often no more than a corner of the garden where a few flower seeds were tossed. This cut flower mix has 23 different flowers to enliven any bouquet.

In cool climates plant in the spring, 1 to 2 weeks before the last average frost date. In mild climates, sow seed during cooler months, generally October through March. Soil must be kept moist while the seeds are germinating and beginning to grow. Be sure to keep the weeds pulled so they do not compete with the flowers for water and sun. This mix covers approximately 100 square feet.
