Salvia - Mixed Colors :

The Mixed Colors Salvia, 'Salvia splendens', has very unusual intensely colored spikes on dense, deep green plants. This plant has a dramatic appearance in mass plantings, border, and pots. The Mixed Colors Salvia have 6 to 8 inch tall spikes of salmon, rose, scarlet, and violet flowers. This plant will do best in full sun, but will thrive and bloom in partial shade.

Mixed Color Salvias will do well in in ordinary well-drained garden soil. They should be watered regularly but not to the point of soggy soil conditions. Plant in the spring after the last killing frost date. This Salvia is easy to grow and makes an excellent border plant and is great in containers or planters.
